Small Business Marketing and Website Support, Without the Evenings and Weekends

For too long, small business owners like us have been caught between two bad options: specialist marketing and web support priced out of reach, or DIY tools that eat time most of us simply can't afford to lose anymore.

Hi, I'm Geraint. Mind Your Biz Online exists to close that gap, giving you the time to grow the business and live the lives we want now.

So why does your marketing and website consume so much of your bandwidth?

At the start, everything felt possible. You said yes to everything, learned fast, and the word spread. The work flowed and you were ahead of the game.

But somewhere in the middle of all that momentum, things drifted.

Now you spend hours chasing tools, fixes, and half-answers across forums and YouTube rabbit holes. You're juggling socials, firefighting tech issues, and wrestling with your website, while your actual work sits waiting.

You've skipped dinner to finish a newsletter. Missed a birthday to update your homepage. Lost another weekend to a website builder that refuses to behave.

And there's a cost that rarely gets named. Every hour you spend on your marketing and website is an hour you didn't spend on the work you actually charge for. For most small business owners, that's not just lost time. It's lost income.

The weight of your online grows heavier with every attempt. And each one feels like it should change everything. But it never quite does.

The worst of it isn't the workload. It's doing it without anyone who really understands.

You started this for a reason. The work you loved. The life you were building toward. The people you were building it for.

But now, something's got to change.

How many evenings is your website worth? How many weekends? How much of what you actually love about your work are you willing to trade for it?

I've been where you are. That's why I built this.

In 2008, I was building a consultancy I believed in, starting a family, and trying to hold everything together.

When I co-founded an education business producing digital GCSE resources, the pressure intensified. The platform we depended on launched late and broken, with no budget left to fix it. So I learned to build the membership site myself, from scratch.

It worked. But the late nights, constant learning, and financial strain took their toll. The balance I'd promised my young family collapsed under the weight of my own ambition.

That experience changed my relationship with digital permanently. It showed me how easily it can take over your life, and how long it takes to notice that it has. I became my own developer, strategist, designer, and content creator, and the things I actually loved about the business kept getting pushed to the end of the list.

Over time, I started helping other small-business owners in the same position. Not just creatives or consultants: people wearing every hat at once, doing it all without support, slowly losing the thread of why they set out in the first place.

Helping one of them untangle their marketing reminded me what I'd been missing: clarity. Seeing them reconnect with their purpose reignited mine.

The support I offer now is the kind I once wished someone had offered me.

The right support at the right time

Most small business owners have been doing what they can, when they can. Filling the gap with late evenings and lost weekends, hoping it will eventually catch up. It doesn't have to work that way.

There's no single way through this. Different stages call for different kinds of support, and the best place to start is not always the most obvious one.

Wherever you're starting from and whatever you need, the support you need is right here. Steady, strategic or hands-on support, as and when you need it most.

What actually changes

The changes are specific. And they compound.

  • Decisions stick. You stop second-guessing the same choices week after week.
  • Time comes back. Not because you're doing less, but because what you're doing has a reason behind it.
  • Your message lands. The right people understand your value straight away, without you having to over-explain.
  • Your business fits around your life again. Not the other way around.

These aren't abstract promises. They're the specific things clients come back and describe, six, eight, twelve weeks into the work.

What Mind Your Biz Online's clients say...

It doesn’t have to stay like this.

You've done what you can, but you're exhausted. And it's cost you a lot more than just hours. You were never supposed to be the marketer, the web designer, the strategist, and the business owner all at once.

You've carried this load long enough. Now it's time for a change.

No more “I’ll update it when I have time.” No more reacting when you must. No more lost family time, billable hours, evenings and weekends.

You're not lazy or out of your depth. You're just doing too much, with the wrong support. What's missing isn't effort. It's clarity.

It starts with one clear conversation. Twenty minutes to get honest about what’s working, what's not, and what a different approach could change for you.

No pitch. No agenda. Just an honest look at where you are now and what’s possible next.
